1. The service

GoAI Accounting ("GoAI", "we", "us") provides online accounting software for South African businesses: keeping books, importing and reconciling bank statements, invoices and bills, VAT and income tax figures, fixed assets, reports and annual financial statements. "You" means the person using GoAI and, where you use it for a business, that business. If you accept these terms for a business, you confirm you're allowed to bind it.

2. Not professional advice

GoAI is a tool. It doesn't replace an accountant, tax practitioner, auditor or lawyer. Figures such as VAT returns, income tax estimates, SARS wear-and-tear periods, depreciation and annual financial statements are worked out from what's in your books and from settings you choose. You're responsible for checking them, for what you submit to SARS or anyone else, and for meeting your legal and tax obligations. Get professional advice where you need it.

5. Acceptable use

You must use GoAI lawfully and follow the Acceptable Use rules, which form part of these terms.

6. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence to read documents, suggest how to code transactions or answer questions. They can make mistakes. Check AI suggestions before you save or rely on them; you're responsible for the entries in your books. How AI features handle your information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

7. Fees

If GoAI is free for you now, we'll tell you in advance before introducing any fees, and you can choose not to continue. Any fees, and what they cover, will be agreed with you before they apply.
